As part of its duties under The Police Services Act, the MPC is responsible for providing advice to the Minister of Justice on regulations dealing with the operation of police services and the conduct of police officers. In the spirit of collaboration and transparency, the MPC is committed to working with stakeholders on the advice it provides to the Minister. Where applicable, consultation feedback is provided in every recommendation paper provided to government.
