Ashling Sweeny – Commissioner
Ms. Sweeny is a member of Cross Lake Band First Nation and she is employed as a Senior First Class Firefighter and Paramedic with Thompson Fire Emergency Services. Ms Sweeny has also served as an Emergency Medical Responder and a Child Development Counselor in Cross Lake. Ms Sweeny has been a mentor to a Young Women’s Conference at RD Parker Collegiate in Thompson and a speaker at the YMCA.
